How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling a virtual appointment is quite easy. Click the scheduling button above and enter your contact information and click submit. Once we have received your information, we will call you to schedule your appointment. You can always call us at (813) 689-2961 to schedule an appointment as well.

How much does it cost?
Telemedicine is available to our concierge care members at no additional charge. However, we also offer telemedicine to nonmembers for a small fee. Nonmembers pay $50 for a 30 minute visit and $95 for a 60 minute visit. Please enter your payment information in the forms you receive after booking your appointment. 
What is included in my appointment?

There is nothing included in the cost of your appointment. You are paying for a one-time visit with no ongoing patient-physician relationship. If you would like to speak with the doctor again, or a follow-up was deemed necessary during your first appointment, you must schedule another appointment for $35.

What is an ongoing patient-physician relationship?
The doctor-patient relationship is possibly the most important one a person might engage in. At Insight Life Care, we take extra time and pursue strong engagement with our members to allow that to flourish and have high effectiveness.  This ongoing and highly attentive relationship gives both doctor and patient confidence and familiarity that makes a difference.

Insight Life Care members have no limitation on the number of appointments or care team interactions, be it in person or virtual.  For non-members, we have created access to longer than typical singular telemedicine appointments for episodic care at a highly competitive rate.  Ongoing care, follow up testing, repeat prescriptions, or chronic care management and availability creates a patient-physician relationship; accordingly membership in our practice is appropriate for any ongoing care.
Do I need to sign up for an account?

No, there are no strings attached - meaning no ongoing physician-patient relationship. You do not need to sign up for a membership in order to have an appointment. However, if you would like any continuation of care, such as follow up testing, repeat prescriptions, or chronic care management, signing up for a membership with Insight Life Care is a smart move - it's only $150/month for 24/7 access to your doctor. Yes, we use Zoom for Healthcare to provide our telemedicine services. Zoom for Healthcare prioritizes secure data transmission and patient privacy by utilizing state-of-the-art security and encryption protocols, making the software compliant with HIPAA requirements.
Do I need to install any software?
No, you have the option to but you don't have to. One of the reasons we use Zoom as our chosen platform for providing telemedicine is the ease of use. All you need is a camera and microphone enabled device, such as your mobile phone, laptop, or tablet. We will send you an email once you’ve booked your appointment that contains a link to access your appointment at the specified day and time.
