In-Office Phlebotomy Covid-19 Updated Guidelines

With Covid-19 cases on the rise again, we must, for the safety of our staff and patients, employ stricter guidelines for our in-office phlebotomy. 


You can speak with Dr. Nussbaum or Victoria to schedule phlebotomy for Tuesday and Thursday mornings only. There are no appointments available any other day or time and you MUST make an appointment – absolutely no walk-ins will be accepted. The appointment will take place in Suite 214C, adjacent to our main office. Please arrive ahead of your scheduled appointment time and call the office (813-689-2961) from your vehicle. Victoria will indicate whether or not you may proceed to the office. If she does not answer, she is with a patient: leave a message and please wait for her to call you back. If you do not arrive by your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be rescheduled. 


For your safety, we are only allowing one patient in at a time and will be sanitizing in between patients. You must wear a mask, no questions asked. Please arrive wearing a mask.


If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the office to reschedule as soon as possible. We understand that circumstances arise, however, we cannot allow you to show up later in the day. You must reschedule for the next available appointment. 


This service is available to members of our practice only. These guidelines are made to continue offering in-office diagnostic services while providing mutual protection and safety. We appreciate you and thank you for your cooperation. Please call us at (813) 689-2961 if you have any questions.
